Youkebox is a way to enjoy music together over the internet. We have

Internet these days, so it should be as easy to listen together as it
is to listen by yourself!

So what’s your favourite music video?

That's a tough one. Why do I keep thinking of Morrisey's "Everyday is

like Sunday"? Must be the weather! :p

What is your favourite youkebox-room?

This has to be the Lifesaver Youkebox - couple of guys there taught me
more about hip hop than the last ten years on the internet. A ton of
great people have contributed cool vids there.

Hi Steven! Give me some wild ideas of what Youkebox will be like in 10 years?

I believe that Youkebox will become the de-facto online place for people to hang out at and share music videos with each other. I also believe that Youkebox has the potential to revolutionise the way we experience and interact with music and video in public spaces, such as bars and clubs.

I heard you are only one in Youkebox who hasn’t dj’d before, so what would be your youkebox-dj name?

Does dj-ing in my bedroom not count then? :) I think my Youkebox-dj name would be something like Judge_and_Jury (Judge Jules was taken when I checked) and I would be happy to pass sentence on all of the tracks that get played in my youkebox that I don’t approve of.

And what would you play?

That's a really tough one and very much determined by my mood. Right now I would be playing Saint Etienne, Stereolab, Quickspace Supersport and Broadcast. Later on I might be playing Ultra Vivid Scene, Primal Scream, Spiritualized and Spaceman 3.

Well first, it's a good way to hear tracks you've never heard before. Second, there's some pretty cool people using it and third...well doesn't everyone love to party? Well this is it, just in your own bedroom but with your favourite tracks and good friends!

And what if I don’t want to play music to my friends?

Don’t worry you can also just sit back and enjoy the music your friends are playing. Maybe after a while you’ll find a little dj inside of you....

And who would you dedicate a song in Youkebox? What song would it be?

I would definately play The Cure's "All cats are grey" and dedicate it to my dead cat Nelson Mandela.
